The Cherner Chair Company is built around the designs of Norman Cherner and his son, Benjamin Cherner. Part of the mid-century modern movement, Norman Cherner came up with iconic molded plywood seating designs that have withstood the test of time. In addition to designing furniture, Norman was an architect, designing one of the first pre-fabricated houses in 1957. Today, Benjamin Cherner continues to build on what his father started, creating new table and chair designs.
