ABC Family features company's customer-designed shelving product
Chattanooga, Tenn., August 25, 2004 – ABC has come knocking on Smart Furniture's door once again – this time to use the company's shelving product in their new home redecorating show called "Knock First." The show, which is on Weekdays at 3:30pm E/P on ABC Family, is the young, 20-something version of their Primetime show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." Smart Furniture was used in "Extreme Makeover;s" two-hour season finale back in May, and ABC contacted them again for "Knock First." The network originally became interested in Smart Furniture's tool-free organizational and display solution upon viewing the company's website: www.smartfurniture.com. Smart Furniture will appear in two episodes of "Knock First" with the first airing on August 30.
"We are thrilled to be on a show that reaches the post-college, 20-something demographic" says Stephen Culp, CEO of Smart Furniture. "Smart Furniture is perfect for the hip, young person who has moved out from their parents into their own place and has an immediate need for flexible, inexpensive furniture."
The "Knock First" crew plans to use Smart Furniture in a variety of functions within the remodeled space. The product’s quick and simple, tool-free assembly will come in handy since the crew only has two, twelve-hour days to complete the makeover.
