Sequel Return by BDI
designed by Matthew WeatherlyThe Sequel Return has the practically the same form as the main desk, but without any of the features and add-ons. It looks great, just like the desk, and can be seamlessly integrated into a desk and return system. The plane of the return is a bit narrower than that of the desk - which makes sense as the return is kind of like the main desks' sidekick.
What's to Like:It adds space, form, and function to your existing Sequel Desk. Anytime you can add a three tool everyday player to a strong team, you've gotta do it.
What's Not to Like:Unfortunately the plane of the return is a bit smaller - it's narrower, and therefore not quite as friendly to larger desk objects.
Bottom Line:A great looking addition to a great looking desk, and a way to turn your Sequel into a complete office system. Designed to be used in unison with the BDI Sequel Desk, the stylish Sequel Return is an excellent complement to an existing work surface or as a laptop stand. The Sequel Return is shown here with the optional back panel, which can be purchased with the Return when selecting the options above. However, the back panel that comes with the Sequel Desk (sold separately) also fits the Return. Depending on which surface is against a wall, the user can configure the panel accordingly.

Heavily influenced by Danish modern style, Matthew studied Scandinavian design, architecture, and woodworking at Denmark's Design School and holds a degree in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute. Q: Why would I buy the back panel?
A: The back panel should be purchased if you plan on putting the return desk in an open area of your office, as opposed to against a wall. The back panel conceals the cord management system, so it is more aesthetically pleasing when the desk is out in the open. It is not as necessary when the desk is facing a wall.
