Cascadia Flatscreen TV Stand 8257 by BDI
designed by Matthew Weatherly
At A Glance:
A clean, linear design, the Cascadia home theater cabinet is an elegant way to display a TV and components. The substantial top and side panels are complemented by refined details, and a grey tinted glass flip-down door keeps components neatly out of sight. The Cascadia TV Stand's generously-sized open shelf is ideal for additional speaker components.
The Cascadia TV Stand's top shelf holds up to 200 lbs, and the interior shelves provide more than enough strength for your components, unless you plan on stacking gold bricks inside. If you do, please take a picture so we can all enjoy the sight of massive amounts of gold in a TV stand.
Recommended TV size: up to an 73" flat panel TV.
What's To Like:
Cascadia 8257 is perfect for large home theater systems. With three enclosed component compartments, the cabinet includes an open shelf for use with a soundbar or center speaker and additional components.
What's Not to Like:
While the Cascadia Entertainment Center does many things well, it's an expensive solution. We think it's worth the money, with its superb functionality and awesome looks - but it's still pricey.
The Bottom Line:
The Cascadia TV Stand is a modern, multi-functional media cabinet that is well-suited for anyone who wants to conceal components without losing use of the remote control.
- Cable management
Integrated wire management features conceal wires for a clean appearance
- Adjustable shelves
Make it easy to accommodate consoles of different sizes
- Flow through ventilation
Shelves and cabinets feature ventilating slots to help keep media console units cool (and prolong their life)
- Tempered, IR glass
BDI glass shelves are virtually shatterproof, and they are compatible with the IR (Infrared) signals used by many remote controls, meaning your media consoles can stay hidden and still be fully functional
- Removable back panel
Makes it easy to adjust cords in the back of your Ola TV Stand. Back panel can also be left off to accommodate larger consoles
