Cecilia Chair by Knoll designed by Emanuala Frattini Magnusson The Cecilia Chair is an award winning side chair from internationally celebrated architect and designer Emanuela Frattini Magnusson, born in Italy. Magnusson also designed the Propeller collection, and with that and the Cecilia Chair it has become clear furniture is one of her passions, and great talents. The Cecilia Chair is elegant, beautiful, simple, and useful. The seat is wide and deep, the arm rails curved, and the backing rails contoured to meet and support the back. Cecilia is great for offices, homes, hospitals and cafeterias: anywhere people congregate and need a good chair. Emanuela Frattini Magnusson has designed glassware for Steuben and Salviati, home and office designs for the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and products for Spinneybeck Leather, all institutions with sterling records of stunning design. She has worked in architecture as fruitfully as design, and has renovated a Frank Lloyd Wright house. According to Magnusson, "Every day, people confront and interact with the objects and spaces that I design, so I can't help but feel a great sense of responsibility about what I do." When you sit in the Cecilia Chair, you'll know she did her job.
