The fabric works to provide body-conforming support without requiring you to figure out a bunch of controls to get it "just right," and the active suspension allows your torso to open up when you lean back; your circulatory system is given a better environment to do its work, and you end up more comfortable as a result.
And all that with the least amount of work on your part. Simply adjust tilt tension and seat height and you're ready to sit comfortably.
The Chadwick chair's built-in lumbar support (enhanced by the curvature of the task chair's back) gives you the support you need. If you need more, there's an optional lumbar pad (also easy-to-operate: simply install using the provided magnets) to give you the comfort you're looking for.
