Konstantin GrcicKonstantin Grcic has loved to build things his whole life, starting work for a furniture restorer as soon as he graduated from high school. One thing led to another, and soon he found himself at the Royal College of Art in London, pursuing his newly-discovered passion of designing furniture. His work is notable for three aspects: logical thought, honest materials, and respect for production methods, and he has done work for many well-known clients. Upon working with Magis, he set out to make the most material-free chair possible: Chair_One. It ended up in the permanent collections of many great museums, including MoMA in New York. He takes his work seriously, and considers it a great responsibility - and one he loves.
