Winner of the Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design,the CHIP Bar Stool has an exalted place among bar furniture. The stool is constructed of molded plywood and steel. It is stackable, light, portable, and perfect for the home, office, cafeteria, or hospitality area. The CHIP Bar Stool is available in several colors, including white,orange, red, natural birch, grey, black and blue.

Born in Helsinki,Finland, young product designer Antti Kotilainen has created a variety of products for both residential and contract applications. Kotilainen was educated at Finland's esteemed Lahti Design Institute and was the recipient of the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design's prestigious Good Design Award in 2002. A versatile designer who values practicality, experimentation and intuition, he says of his craft: A writer writes on life, a designer designs on life.

Antti KotilainenWinner of the Finnish Furniture Designer of the Year Award in 2007, Antti Kotilainen approaches furniture design from an architect's perspective and melds functionality with elegance. A graduate of Finland's Lahti Design Institute, Kotilainen maintains his versatility as a designer and has been recognized by institutions around the world for his work. In 2002, the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design awarded Kotilainen with the esteemed Good Design Award for his CHIP chair. In 2003, Knoll won the Good Design Award for Kotilainen's entire CHIP series.
