Componibili Storage Module by Kartell designed by Anna Castelli Ferrieri
At A Glance: The Componibili modules have been designed to meet various functional needs and slot into any home setting - in the bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, or living room. The design feature that brings the Componibili modular system to life is the simple and robust vertical overlapping of the single pieces, which - by way of a simple joint - form practical movable containers. Offered in variably-sized round shapes, the Componibili modules can stand on small casters.
What's To Like:
Those of you with limited bathroom storage will feel this one: Componibili is a great place to keep all your essentials away from prying eyes.
Don't want to keep your stuff in that spot anymore? Move it! Casters make the trip easy.
Plastic doesn't chip, scratch, or wear away like paint does.
What's Not to Like: You can likely get a less expensive storage system if you really want to. But will it look as good?
The Bottom Line: Flexible, functional and practical, Componibili modules have been in production for more than thirty years and have received much recognition for their preeminent and innovative design. They are displayed at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the George Pompidou Centre in Paris. Useful versatility, popular acceptance, critical acclaim - and that's the bottom line.

Anna Castelli-Ferrieri Anna Castelli-Ferrieri was born in 1920 in Milan, where she studied architecture, graduating in 1943. Marrying into the Castelli family (owners of Kartell) in the same year, she subsequently began a long career designing for Kartell. Her innovative designs used plastics as well as polyurethane, polystyrene and polypropylene. Several of her own designs, which include plastic shelving, storage systems, modular furniture, kitchen and tableware and stacking storage units were awarded the Compasso d'oro.
Comments about Kartell Componibili Storage Module:
I love this modern piece. It is small, so it doesn't take up too much space, but is big enough for things in need in a bedside table. Honestly, I was skeptical about paying this much for a bedside table, but when I compared prices, it was not really much more than the cheapest and bulky options I could find. I love the style, it adds dimension to the bedroom and it is small enough so we could regain some floor space in our already small room. Love it, would recommend this beautiful piece!

Comments about Kartell Componibili Storage Module:
I have this (on casters) next to the bathroom sink. It fits the space perfectly. The top is sleek and easy to keep uncluttered, the spacious storage cupboards can be filled with all the occasionally necessary stuff that seems to collect. It's sturdy enough and the doors slide easily. I originally ordered a 3 tier but the 2 is perfect for us.

Comments about Kartell Componibili Storage Module:
I'm so happy I bought this item! I use it as a end table to hold all those unsightly things you want near the couch but don't want to see. The lobster-red color is gorgeous and the finish a nice, but not overwhelming gloss. The doors open easily. The base has a rubber strip to prevent it from sliding. I did add a veneer on top to protect against scratches and I expect this piece to last many years. [...]
