The linear, modern structure of the Equo lamp is counterbalanced to be adjustable with just a light touch. The arched cross section of the arm is what makes it so thin and light, while retaining its strength. Simply slide your finger along the stem's touch sensitive strip to dim or turn the lamp on and off. The Equo LED desk lamp features aluminum construction.
The Equo Desk Lamp features:
Built-in touch sensitive dimmer strip on lamp stem
Dimmer strip features 11 steps of brightness adjustability
Warm white (3500K) LED light
Array of 28 mid-power LEDs total 7.5 watts
Directional light distribution in a roughly oval shape
Each LED is rated for up to 40,000 hours of use (if you use the lamp for 8 hours per day every year, the LED bulbs would last about 13 years)
9 foot power cord
The lamp's light weight saves material resources, and LEDs save energy
Materials & Measurements
Materials: Aluminum, plastic
Dimensions: Overall: 32" arm length x 12.5" height when level
Equo's design features a curved body shape to minimize the material used, and the core of the weighted base is made from post-industrial recycled material, accounting for more than 60 percent of the lamp's weight. Packaging waste is minimized by making the base and arm detachable, and LEDs are used for energy savings.
About The Manufacturer
Koncept Tech was established by founders with years of manufacturing and industrial design, and given a mandate to develop innovative new lighting solutions. Since 2002, Koncept has offered elegant LED lamps for home and office use, which have brought all the right kind of attention. Featured in a number of publications because of their use of green technology, Koncept is continuing along that road in creating each new lamp they offer.
LEDs cannot be replaced individually as they are soldered to the panel. Under normal use, LED lights will not burn out suddenly like regular bulbs or fluorescents. If used for 8 hours a day the LED lights will last 13 years. The Equo Desk Lamp can be serviced by the manufacturer if this becomes an issue.
