What's To Like:
The bed's upholstery is a nice change of pace from the norm, and thin piping on the seams adds a beautiful contrast.
One of the difficulties that comes along with some platform beds is that mattresses can't "breathe" as well - that's why box springs are so helpful. Gus Modern has built the box spring into the Gardiner Bed, preserving the low look, and we love the idea.
Upholstery on the frame keeps you from bruising yourself on the side boards like you would with exposed wood frame beds.
What's Not to Like: You'll have to clean the upholstery periodically. If you're OK with that, we think this upholstered bed is a great choice.
