This shelf (opaque glass), combined with the very well designed support bracket, are the perfect combination for adding a clean looking wall enhacement that immediately leads your eye to whatever you display on it. Items on lower shelves are well lit instead of hidden in the shadow of a shelf that does not allow light to pass through. I only checked the con (heavy) to suggest the final shelf insertion into the support bracket is much easier with two sets of hands.

The glass wall shelves were beautiful when assembled, and I would recommend them highly. [...] I felt the instructions could be clearer. For example, when placing the double sided tape, it appears it should be placed on the inside edge so that it folds across the top and bottom surface; but the instructions state it should be on the top surface. Also, with regard to the hollow wall mollys, are the larger ones stronger or the smaller ones? It would be nice to know which molleys have the greatest strength. The instructions do not mention the edge caps. I was disappointed that two of the glasses shelves were not as long as the brackets, but it did not diminish the beautiful appearance and my satisfaction with the product.

We were instantly attracted to the clean, modern look of the shelf. Like another customer, we were disappointed by the measurements not adding up to 48 inches, as advertised.
The biggest draw back were the directions, as another customer mentioned. The directions were not written clearly. You will need a smaller drill bit than instructed to use. It turned out to be a frustrating experience.
However, now that it is mounted it looks great with our decor!

I have to say that the shelf met my expectations for quality, but it is a bit disappointing in the overall length. I ordered 2 shelves stated to be 48 inches in length each. Reality is they are only 47 1/4 inches long. It is a good thing I didn't need that 3/4 inch to put everthing on the shelf uncrowded.

We are using these shelves in a study for family photos etc. They are attractive, relatively easy to install. [...] The plastic side pieces are a little cheap, they could fit better, but once thay are up you don't notice them. The installation instructions were slightly confusing as they combined instructions for a couple different types of shelving. I would order this product again.
The 24" bracket has four entry points that are spaced 8.25" apart. The 36" bracket has five entry points that are spaced 8.25" apart. The 48" bracket has six entry points that are spaced 8.25" apart.

What is the thickness/height of the bracket that mounts to the wall?
Yes, the Glace Wall Shelf can be used in the bathroom to mount on tile and the aluminum bracket will not rust. It would not be recommended to mount it in the shower where it would directly encounter water.

If these shelves were staggered along a wall, could a 10 lbs cat jump from one to the other for fun. She would also want to sleep on them sometimes. Could that work?
Absolutely! The Glace Shelf can support quite a bit more weight than 10 pounds. Just make sure to mount the brackets into studs to ensure your feline lands safely. Happy cats make for happy owners!

No, the Glace shelves have square corners. If you want rounded corners what about our Portland or Cambridge Wall Shelves? Or you can purchase the bracket for the Glace Shelf separately and have glass custom cut at a local glass shop.
