Me and my wife really like these shelfs. They really look good in our computer room. We are very happy with these shelfs. Not sure if they will hold the advertised weight, 66lbs, when mounted in sheet rock. I never trust sheet rock to hold very much, that said, I drilled new holes in the mounting bracket so I could get the screews into the studs. Now they look good and are nice and sturdy.

Delivery was fast and packaging was good. No damage during shipment. I like the fact that there was no large amounts of styrofoam in the packaging. One thin wrap of a styrofoam sheet and some bubble wrap and the rest of the packaging was recyclable cardboard.

Nice looking shelves. The only issue I have is that when the screws were tightened in a stud it warped the bracket and the rods supporting the shelves needed to be realigned

I love the clean modern look of floating shelves. When we remodeled our kitchen, we reserved one secton of wall for these shelves (white, matching the new cabinets). We installed two 48" shelves about 17" apart, the lowest one 18" above the countertop. I love the way the shelves look, a great place to showcase special objects. They're thick and have a substantial look.Down side: they're clearly plastic. I can live with that. The mounting hardware is a metal strip with two plastic bars that stick out horizontally and slides into the shelf. I was surprised that they weren't longer (only about 5" while the shelf is 10" deep). We found two studs and created holes in the mounting strip to take advantage of those, and placed molly bolts where the two pre-drilled holes were. The shelf slid in nicely, but tipped forward and it was bouncy to the touch. They looked like they would fall off the wall if we put anything on them, although the manufacturer said they would hold 66 pounds. I was ready to pack them up and return them, when our kitchen contractor suggested a toe-nail. He used a drill called a Kreg and drilled right through the back of each shelf into the studs. Now they're steady as can be, and I'm glad I don't have to send them back.So, while I like them (now), I wouldn't recommend them to anyone unless they have a building contractor handy, or a lot of expertise in jury-rigging. I don't think the two shelves were worth the over $200 price [...]. Another popular house furnishing store has what looks like a better designed shelf that looks just like it. It's not plastic, however. They didn't come in the length I needed either (too short and too long). I hope someone comes up with a better design for mounting these shelves, because they look great.
