Herman Miller Select Eames Wire-Base Low Table designed by Charles and Ray Eames
At a Glance
In celebration of the 100-year anniversary of the birth of Ray Eames, Herman Miller offers an Eames classic with a distinctly "Ray" touch. The Select Eames Wire-Base Low Table incorporates the same design as the iconic Wire-Base Table but treats it with three bold and beautiful colors, honoring Ray's love for and use of vibrant hues.
What's to Like:
This occasional table takes an icon and gives it panache. The vibrant color helps the Select Eames Wire-Base Table bring life to your space and, like the original, it's lightweight enough to be moved with ease.
What's Not to Like:
Like the original Eames Wire-Base Table, this is an accent piece; it's not intended to be a large end or coffee table. That being said, it is one amazing accent piece, and the use of color only makes it better (in our opinion).
The Bottom Line:
Classic, iconic, and now colorful. This vibrant table takes the Eames Wire-Base Table and gives it new life in celebration of the life and work of Ray Eames. Taking a staple and making it better sure sounds like a fitting way to honor Ray to us.

In honor of Ray Eames' 100th birthday, Herman Miller is releasing this brilliant variation on the classic Wire Base Table. The Eames Select Wire Table is colorful, beautifully designed, and of course completely functional - exactly as Charles and Ray Eames designed nearly everything they built.
Charles and Ray Eames are, without a doubt, the finest American furniture designers of the 20th century. Herman Miller was fortunate enough to forge an early working relationship with the duo, a partnership that has yielded dozens of all time classic furniture designs and defined hundreds of thousands of homes and public spaces all across the globe. The Eames Select Wire Table is just one more gorgeous entry in the long catalogue of Eames triumphs, and we're proud to offer it to our customers for use in their own homes.
The table makes excellent use of two of Charles and Ray's favorite materials - thick wire and wood. The base of the table is composed of criss-crossing wire that not only lends structural support and stability, but also whimsical, exhilarating style. The top of the table is solid wood, painted in one of three colors (the choice is up to you using our online design engine), and the edges are cut at an angle, increasing the surface area of the top of the table as it rises. There could be no more fitting tribute to the work of Ray Eames on her birthday then to provide this old favorite with a bright, brilliant color selection that Ray would have approved (and used many times in other furniture).
A good table is hard to find, as the saying goes (we're paraphrasing here), but if you're on the hunt look no more. This updated classic from Charles and Ray Eames can't be improved on for thrilling, functional mid-century design.
