At A Glance:
The Jack Chair offers a classy look at an affordable price, and it's no slouch when it comes to its feature set. Optional fixed or adjustable arms let you set it up the way you like to sit, and fully upholstered seat and back provide all-day comfort.
What's To Like:
For the price you get a ton of well-made, stable comfort. Steelcase is a reliable, experienced manufacturer of quality task chairs, and the Jack Task Chair is no exception. Casters, optional adjustable arms, tilt, and seat height adjustment give it flexibility for any task.
What's Not to Like:
There are 2 version of the Jack Chair and this one is the lesser of the two with no tilt option (swivel only) and no seat depth adjustment. It's a little less adjustable than you'd like it to be if you're going to be sitting in it for upwards of 8 hours. But for the price, it'll be hard to find a more comfortable task chair.
The Bottom Line:
While it's not the Cadillac of office chairs, Jack's clean lines and updated aesthetics combined with amenities like seat height adjustment and fully adjustable arms make it a good choice for all-day sitting. The Jack Chair comes with the functionality and comfort of task chairs that often cost much more.
