I love my sectional but 2 of the buttons popped off. Smart Furniture contacted an upholstery repair shop near my home. They fixed the buttons right away and checked all of the other buttons. Great sofa. Lovely design, and very well made. Looks like it will hold up for year to come. We're upgrading from a sofa that turned into a bunch of slouchy messy "dumpy" pillows and cushions. And although the Gus sofas aren't the type that you normally would fall and sink into...it's great, firm and comfortable. We can't wait to accessorize with fun pillows. The sofa arrived quickly, and didn't require any assembly except for placing two halves together and putting cushions where they belonged.

We replaced an old, larger modern sofa with the Jane Bi-Sectional. The Jane looks sharp and has the modern feel we wanted. The chaise portion is a bit shorter than the sectional we replaced, so I had to get used to my feet hanging over a bit when in a complete lounge position. It's great for my wife and I who like to lounge and watch movies. There's plenty of room for both of us to lounge comfortably. The cushions are very firm, and it sits lower than expected. This doesn't bother me but I like a low, firm sofa. The cushions have broken in a little over the first month or so. We have had no issues yet, but I am concerned about the button tufts holding up over heavy use, but we'll see over time. The over-all look and feel of the sofa is very good. It works in a modern setting, but it can fit in with other styles too. We have a modern, industrial theme and I think this is a nice piece that works well with our style.

Looked for a long time for a sofa that could meet a laundry list of requirements, and assumed we'd need to compromise. The Jane Bisectional fulfilled our wishes for literally all of them, including great design/style (smart, understated, clean design, not overwhelming), modular design (sectional can be oriented either way-- a great feature), comfort, smart attention to detail (the armrests are flat enough to hold a plate, bowl, or drink), long-lasting materials (no "sag" in cushions or fray in fabric over time), and a from two companies we like (Gus Design and Smart Furniture). My wife and I liked the first one so much we bought another just like it (and then another non-sectional Gus for a new condo). We have had these for 18 months, we use them every day, and they still look new, clean, and beautiful. We get lots of compliments from guests. We have very high standards on design and quality and "fit" for what we buy, and this sofa from Smart Furniture has been a perfect purchase.

I was impressed from the start with the Jane Bisectional – from the French seams, the upholstery and tufting, the versatility (left or right facing) and firmness. It even works as an extra place to sleep if you remove the back cushions - the depth is perfect. I am a fan of Gus Modern's products, they are finished well and are high quality. I have since purchased a second Jane Bisectional and a Spencer Sofa. I highly recommend Gus products to anyone. They are modern but have a very warm look, which can work for a variety of styles or preferences.
