Masters Chair by Kartell
Set of 4
designed by Philippe Starck
Save when you buy the Masters Chairs as a set of 4! But also available as a set of 2.
If there is a true heir-apparent to the mid-century furniture masters, it's Frenchman Philippe Starck. How fitting then that Starck would take three of the most iconic chairs of the mid-century movement and assimilate their silhouettes into one masterful chair. Kartell presents to you Philippe Starck's latest masterpiece, the Masters Chair.
The Series 7 by Arne Jacobsen, the Tulip Armchair by Eero Saarinen and the Eiffel Chair by Charles Eames weave into a most engaging and sinuous hybrid. Standing on four slim legs, the Masters chair is roomy and comfortable. The back of the chair is its most fascinating feature characterized by the fullness and empty spaces created by the curvaceous crisscrossing lines of three different backs which descend to merge into the edge of the seat.
