Misses Flower Power by Kartell
designed by Philippe Starck with Eugeni Quitllet
Probably the most enormous vase you've ever seen. At 64" high, Misses Flower Power brings a substantial presence to any contemporary setting. Ever on the lookout for original visual effects in his work, Philippe Starck and Kartell developed a manufacturing technique that employs rotational molding. This method produces a single hollow piece in the shape of a vase that has an irregular surface- creating a stunning chromatic effect. Round base gives the vase added stability.
Misses Flower Power is available in three matte finishes and three transparent finishes.

ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATIONContrary to the common idea, products in plastic materials are highly ecological for the reason that they can be recycled (with the exception of polyurethane, little used in Kartell products). Thus, Kartell products can be easily recycled. In order to simplify the recycling process, the various components of Kartell products can be easily separated and reduced to elements made of one single material. Moreover, the plastic parts of each product carry, clearly printed, an identification mark to determine the correct classification of the different kinds of plastic and their effective recycling.

DESIGNERFew designers have had an impact across the world of design like Philippe Starck. From modern furniture, restaurant interiors, to architecture, the French icon has made lasting impressions to all those exposed to his work. However, his most influential designs have been in the world of staggeringly original mass produced consumer goods. Renowned for his collaboration with the Italian design and manufacturing firm Kartell, Starck's most famous works include the Ghost Chair series, the Bubble Club group, and the Misses Flower Power. Despite all his past achievements, he is still highly active in the world of modern design.
