The Pfister Settee is part of a classic series of lounge furniture from California architect and designer Charles Pfister. The Pfister Settee is perfectly proportioned to fit and cradle the human form, and visually it's a striking and inviting piece of furniture. Charles Pfister is much-admired for the elegance of his furniture designs, and learned his trade at UC Berkeley.

Charles PfisterCharles Pfister earned his architecture degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1961 and later attended the Rudolph Schaeffer School of Design. Following Pfister's graduate work, he joined Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill in San Francisco until he resigned in 1981 to begin Pfister Partnership. Some of Pfister's most notable projects include Citicorp headquarters in London, the Royal Dutch Shell headquarters in The Hague, and the United Overseas Bank in Singapore.
