Christophe Pillet A graduate of the Decorative Arts School in Nice in 1985, Pillet had his first piece of furniture produced in 1991. He has been working independently since 1993, and has designed furniture and interiors for clients including LOreal, Lacoste, Whirlpool, and Coalesse.
His Round series of indoor/outdoor furnishings (part of the Emu furniture collection) are distinctive and innovative, but never intrusive. According Christophe, "there is something that is often difficult to find in outdoor furniture, and it is precisely those things that I have tried to express in the collection: simplicity, timelessness and a touch of distant elegance."
