The Almost Perfect Wall Shelf
We are a furniture company. We make lots of things. We expect the things we make to be perfect, so we can make you happy when you buy from us. Sometimes, we make things that are just shy of perfect. So let us explain why the Almost Perfect shelf is really almost perfect.
Each shelf was made with care, and then wrapped in plastic to prevent scratching (and because we know that opening things can be fun). Because the temperature of the plastic was not quite right, a few small pieces decided to stay on the very edge of the shelf. This resulted in little shiny marks, or what we call sheen. We consider this to be a purely cosmetic flaw (most of us did not notice because the marks can only be seen in certain light). Structurally, the shelves look and feel and perform exactly as we wanted.
Because we have incredibly high quality standards, and because we would not want someone to sell us a product that has a flaw without telling us, we decided to tell you all about our experience and let you decide.
