Think Work Stool by Steelcase
designed by Glen Oliver Low

At A Glance: As you might expect, the Think Stool has a number of the same features as its better known progenitor the Think Chair. The ideas behind both the chair and stool are the same- lots of optional upgrades so you only pay for what you want.

What's To Like:You get all the benefits of the Think Chair in a taller stool format. Also, the fully adjustable arms have all kinds of pivoting abilities.

What's Not to Like:Some folks don't like the look of the Think Stool, but that's just a matter of opinion. As far as the quality of the stool goes, there's nothing to second guess.

The Bottom Line: It's rare to find a tall work stool of this quality with this many ergonomic features and fabric/leather options.

  • Available in durable Buzz 2 fabric, breathable Cogent Connect fabric, or Elmo Soft Leather
  • Optional lumbar support adjusts vertically along the back 4.25"
  • 2.5" dual wheel casters for carpet or hard floors
  • Arms available in fixed height or depth, width, and pivot adjustable

The Think Stool requires just a bit of assembly with attachment of the back after it arrives. It's a very simple process and thankfully, does not require an engineering degree to accomplish!
