Think Work Stool by Steelcase
designed by Glen Oliver Low
At A Glance: As you might expect, the Think Stool has a number of the same features as its better known progenitor the Think Chair. The ideas behind both the chair and stool are the same- lots of optional upgrades so you only pay for what you want.
What's To Like: Not least amongst the upgrades is the flexible headrest. Even better is the convenient ability to retrofit the stool with the headrest at a later date. Also, the fully adjustable arms have all kinds of pivoting abilities.
What's Not to Like:Some folks don't like the look of the Think Stool, but that's just a matter of opinion. As far as the quality of the stool goes, there's nothing to second guess.
The Bottom Line: It's rare to find a tall work stool of this quality with this many ergonomic features and fabric/leather options.
- Optional headrest can be retrofitted at a later date
- Available in durable Buzz 2 fabric, breathable Cogent Connect fabric, or Elmo Soft Leather
- Optional lumbar support adjusts vertically along the back 4.25"
- 2.5" dual wheel casters for carpet or hard floors
- Arms available in fixed height or depth, width, and pivot adjustable
