Tic and Tac Clock by Kartell
designed by Philippe Starck
Kartell presents you its very first wall clock. A squared transparent box measuring 30x30 cm with Roman numerals engraved on the surface. Fortunately the Roman numerals only go up to 12 (as clocks tend to do), so you don't need to be an expert in Roman numerology to tell the time.
Also like most clocks, the Tic and Tac features a spot-on time-keeping ability. You'll be alerted to time's progression whenever you look at the orange hands moving about the square face. It's a designer clock, and it's made by Philippe Starck- one of the most influential designers of the last 20 years.
Use as a free standing clock or hang it on the wall.
11.8" h x 11.8" w x 3.1" d
Tic and Tac Clock is also available in chrome and matte white. Please call one of our salespeople at 888-467-6278 for more information.
Creativity and technology, glamour and functionality, quality and innovation: a combination of extraordinary factors together with a strategic vision of distribution has contributed to the lasting success of Kartell. By cultural and entrepreneurial choice, since its origins in 1949 the Italian manufacturer has chosen to characterize itself as the market leader in the production of designers articles which use technology and plastic materials. This choice requires a great understanding of materials and transformation technology. A leader in furniture design, Kartell addresses an international audience with a collection unique in originality, variety, size, and range.
Few designers have had an impact across the world of design like Philippe Starck. From modern furniture, restaurant interiors, to architecture, the French icon has made lasting impressions to all those exposed to his work. However, his most influential designs have been in the world of staggeringly original mass produced consumer goods. Renowned for his collaboration with the Italian design and manufacturing firm Kartell, Mr. Stark's most famous works include the Ghost Chair series, the Bubble Club group, and the Tic and Tac Clock. Despite all his past achievements, he is still highly active in the world of modern design.
