Deb Martin Staff Accountant Meet Deb, one of our uber-talented and hyper-organized staff accountants. There's never been a question about Microsoft Excel that she couldn't answer, nor a project she couldn't finish. She'd probably be a pretty good bounty hunter considering her track record on getting people to straighten out their payables! Looking for her dream job, Deb happened upon a spot at Smart Furniture and thought to herself, "I remember reading the job description of the posting for my position and thinking it sounded like my dream job. And, what do you know? It fit me perfectly! I enjoy getting to learn how to do everything. In accounting, you normally get put into a box and get stuck in just one area. However, joining the Smart Furniture team, I got to learn about all aspects of accounting, and have even worked on operations, web, and marketing projects. "Pretty much the only customer contact I get is when I'm trying to collect money, but I have found that I am always pleasantly surprised at how helpful our customers are in this regard.
