Matt Wood Marketing Director Meet Matt, the director of marketing-related matters here at Smart Furniture. When he's not busting people's egos on the ping pong table, he's planning promotional events and making sure you know that Smart Furniture's the spot for all your furniture shopping needs. Initially, Matt wanted to work at Smart Furniture for no reason other than the fact that it had a cool website, but when he started investigating the company he found some more non-superficial reasons for wanting to be there. According to Matt, "For starters, the Smart Furniture employees I met seemed sincerely excited about being there, so that didn't hurt. The company was expanding, and it just did like it did more than sell furniture. I was just drawn in by the feel." Here are some other fun tidbits about Matt: Favorite Quote? "I think having a conversation and maybe a drink with Winston Churchill would make for a memorable evening. He did so much with his life that it would be difficult to run out of questions for him." What would your first college roommate say about you? "I never see Matt. He's always running." Interesting/creative experiences helping a customer? "Everyone has a nice touch with our customers.
