I bought four kits and assembled them into a huge system on one wall for my sewing room. The instructions say to wait to put the pins in (last), and I did, but some pins (particularly in the middle of the whole thing) were hard to put in. I'm sure this was mostly because I had such a huge set. Next time all the pins will not going in last.
Other than that, they are lovely. Took the better part of a day to assemble them (four sets, remember), which I mostly did alone. The completed shelf is about 10 feet long and about 6 feet tall.

I've had the cubitec in a hallway that doesn't get any direct sunlight for 5+ years and it has yellowed over time. Next to a white wall its very noticeable. A friend gave me some extra pieces and they were even more yellowed, which leads me to believe if you have them in a sunny room you should expect discoloration in a year or two.
In their new home they will be painted, they are still very functional and have held up well.
We use these in our production office where we have tons of small drives, etc to store that are in use often. We have one large unit on the floor and then we put one smaller unit on top of a bank of file cabinets, makes a nice display area for awards, pretty items, etc.
They are challenging to assemble, lots of parts, but they are very sturdy and attractive.
Also, we has 2 of the shelves that were damaged in the shipping, and the service to replace them was awesome. We did a chat and had the product in the next business day!!! No hassle, just sent them a picture of the damaged shelf. Very nice to find that kind of service with an online retail shop.

This is an excellent product to use when space is limited. Sturdy and very functional, this shelf system is a great use of plastic as an alternative to more traditional materials such as wood and metal. And while size, adaptability and use of material are well thought out the instruction sheet is perhaps not as clear and easy to follow as it could have been (although once you get into the swing of things the assembly definitely quickens).

already had a bunch of cubitec from DWR from a few years ago but they changed the spec so their new cubitec wouldnt fit with the old stuff--i wanted to add some cubes and you guys were the only place that had the original spec--thnx!

Easy to assemble. Very versatile - arrangement can be changed with minimal hassle and can easily be expanded with several kits. I own 4 kits - 2 orange that I've connected and use to store my record collection, and 2 white that act as a bookshelf. love it.

We were looking at a similar product at [...], but it was[...] more expensive[...]This version of the cubitec is slightly different, but you can't tell unless they're side-by-side. The shelves fill a space nicely, but are not too imposing. Exactly what we wanted. The cubbies are a little large for storing books, but we made it work.

The delivery was very prompts. The billing was delayed but the customer service folks figured out the problem when I called and were very helpful and called me back to keep me updated.

I love books and I love my Cubitec shelves. I assembled an entire wall of shelving in about 6 hours once I figured out the instructions. With the left-over pieces I made two end tables and a shelf for a flat screen TV and DVDS. These shelves are work horses and very safe and stable without attaching to the wall dispite their 6 cube height. I really like when the sunlight glows through them. Very cool.
