Mr. Impossible Chair by Kartell
designed by Philippe Starck

This inviting chair has an organic design that invokes comfort, neatness and style. Mr. Impossible is the combination of sophisticated design and advanced plastic processing. It takes on a new technological challenge with highly advanced techniques that consist of the welding of two shells - the transparent structure and the seat - into one full-colored and translucent piece, making Mr. Impossible virtually indestructible and creating a truly beautiful effect. The seal of the two oval shells gives the plastic a bi-color and three-dimensional effect.

Environmental Information

Contrary to the common idea, products in plastic materials are highly ecological for the reason that they can be recycled (with the exception of polyurethane, little used in Kartell products). Thus, Kartell seating can be easily recycled. In order to simplify the recycling process, the various components of Kartell products can be easily separated and reduced to elements made of one single material. Moreover, the plastic parts of each product carry, clearly printed, an identification mark to determine the correct classification of the different kinds of plastic and their effective recycling.

Love These Chairs Even More Than I Already Knew I Would!!

By

from Bartlesville, OK

Comments about Kartell Mr. Impossible Chair:

I shopped for a long time for the perfect chairs for our new Italian concrete dining table and knew I had found them when I came across Kartell's Mr. Impossible chair. I received them yesterday, and they were SO worth the wait!! They are even more amazing in person, and both my love (6'3" and 205 lbs) and I (let's just say 'not as big as he is') are completely comfortable in them. They are even more beautiful with the table than I'd imagined they would be, their crystal clear transparency perfectly showcasing its decorative, carved pedestal. I wholeheartedly recommend these beautifully crafted chairs!

Service and delivery comments:

SmartFurniture followed up with me several times regarding the purchase and delivery of these chairs, which was much appreciated. There was a mix-up on the part of the local delivery company, and SmartFurniture jumped in immediately to help. The issue was quickly resolved and my chairs were delivered without any problem or delay. Incredible, intelligent customer service! No wonder they are called "SmartFurniture"!
