Stilt Floor Lamp
by Blu Dot
At A Glance:
Not just woodworking - this is woodworking plus. The Stilt Floor lamp features three wood legs of varying heights that pirouette open to form one well-balanced base. A red fabric cord (on the walnut version) exits the bottom of the legs' intersection and traces a bright path to the floor, adding a ray of color to that little corner of your space. Available as a floor or table lamp, depending on how much leg you want to show.
What's To Like:
Floor lamps are really a dime a dozen, when it comes down to it. It's all about your own personal taste. Well, our personal taste is that the Stilt Floor Lamp is the best-looking floor lamp we've got to offer. No kidding.
What's Not to Like:
If you have a super excited pet or active small child (or maybe even a Roomba), the base may not be up to the task, as it's the fold-open variety. Fold open-able means fold shut-able.
The Bottom Line:
If your taste is modern or just plain fun, you'll like the Stilt Floor Lamp from Blu Dot. Its rich walnut and clean linen are spiced up with a red cord for flavor, and it'll be at home in just about any corner of your home. If we were Blu Dot we'd have taken a picture of this lamp in the bathroom because they're weird like that.
