The Bertoia Bench fits up to three plush cushions upholstered with welt detail. These cushions give the owner the ability to variegate the bench with colored cushions on top of the black or white frame.
About the Designer
|Harry Bertoia is an Italian designer best known (and justly famous) for his Bertoia Diamond Lounge Chair, and the whole series of chairs and tables that followed from that design. A proponent of leaving space and air in his designs, Bertoia was a pioneer in using bent steel as a design tool and material, which led to the creation of durable, reproducable, and delicate looking chairs and tables. Bertoia is in the pantheon of great designers. |
