Cachet Chair, Four-Leg Glide Base
by Steelcase
designed by Peter Jon Pearce

Steelcase Cachet Chair
At A Glance:
Uncommon comfort. Uncommon versatility. Cachet adjusts to the way you sit. Light and nimble, this folding, stacking chair is ready to go to work right out of the box.

What's To Like:
Anyone can be comfortable without making any manual adjustments to the chair - and that's a rare feat that Steelcase has bulled off. The "balanced action rocker" mechanism allows the Cachet chair to flex and move with you, and the mechanism balances your weight to provide continuous support. Cachet also folds or stacks, depending how you want to store it.

What's Not to Like:
The only thing we can think of that we don't like is that there aren't any "task chair" adjustments. But it's a folding chair! Sorry, Cachet - we had to pick on you somehow.

The Bottom Line:
If you're looking for a chair with all the adjustments and bells and whistles, the Cachet chair isn't for you. It's bare-bones. However, it does the bare-bones job a ton better than most other chairs in its class. It's a good, comfortable buy for situational tasking and conference seating.

Also available is the Cachet Task Chair with Swivel Base.
