Younger Furniture is becoming more and more widely known for their quality of craftsmanship. Techniques that ensure durability - such as corners that are blocked, double-doweled, glued, screwed, and (for good measure) stapled - give each customer a sofa or lounge chair that can last for decades with the proper care. Generous padding is added in all the places you’ll need it, including under the upholstery at the bottom of each sofa’s front, ensuring comfort and a smooth look. Younger Furniture pieces tend towards the medium-firm side for a well-supported sit, with the option for a YLux cushion upgrade for a softer sit. This enables each customer - whether she prefers a firm sit or a cushy sit - to find comfort in the Younger line of sofas.

Shipping & Delivery

Simple Scheduled Delivery: Free

Simple Scheduled Delivery is for folks that don't mind carrying furniture. The shipper will call prior to delivery to arrange an appointment, but the driver will not bring the furniture inside.

  • Typical transit time is 4-7 business days.
  • Shipper will arrange a four hour window for delivery at least 24 hours in advance.
  • The driver will drop the furniture at the front of your house or in your apartment's regular delivery area. They will not bring the furniture inside or carry it up stairs.
  • If you live in an apartment, the doorman can accept delivery on your behalf.
  • You must inspect the purchase at delivery and sign for damages.
  • We'll be sure to assist with any damage that may occur. Please call Smart Furniture right away if any issues arise.

Free Curbside Delivery: Free

We love free shipping offers and we thought you might too! Free curbside service means that your sofa will ship fully assembled on a large commercial truck from our warehouse in NC to your front door. Prior to delivery, our shipper will contact you using the number provided to us during checkout to schedule a delivery appointment (note that some shippers operate on Saturdays so be sure to ask about this option). The driver will unload the sofa from the truck and leave it at your door. Curbside service does not include product placement inside your home or debris removal, so if you need one of these options be sure to check out our shipping upgrades.

Inside Delivery (recommended): $59.00 per item

Inside delivery is a cost effective way to have large, heavy items delivered inside your home or office when you just do not want to be bothered by moving and lifting. This service can be added to your order for $59 per item. We recommend inside delivery because this item is either extremely large, extremely heavy or ships in multiple boxes. When your order reaches the local station in your area, you will be contacted to schedule a delivery appointment (with a 4 hour window). The driver will place the item inside your home and do all of the heavy lifting for you!

White Glove Delivery $79.00 per item

White Glove Delivery is our most comprehensive delivery service option and can be added to your order for an additional $79 per item. When your order reaches the local station in your area, the delivery agent will call the number provided to us during checkout to schedule a four hour delivery appointment. The driver will carefully bring the item inside and place it in your room of choice (two flights of stairs max), unpack, perform light assembly if required (up to 30 minutes without tools), and remove any debris. Keep in mind that the driver will take away the packaging. If you have any doubts, ask to hang on to the box in the event you need to request a return or exchange.

White Glove Delivery $195.00 per item

If you want your furniture delivered and ready to go, this is the option for you. The shipper will schedule a delivery window with you at least 24 hours in advance. They'll bring the furniture into your home, place it in your room of choice, and assemble any pieces that need to be put together. It's the true white glove treatment!

  • Typical transit time is 4-7 business days. Some larger and specialty items may take a bit longer.
  • Shipper will arrange a four hour window for delivery at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Your driver or delivery team will bring the furniture inside your home and into your room of choice (up to two flights of stairs).
  • Delivery folks will unpack your furniture, assemble any pieces needing to be put together, and they'll discard all of the boxes and packaging materials.
  • We'll be sure to assist with any damage that may occur. Please call Smart Furniture right away if any issues arise.
  • If you're ordering multiple items from the same manufacturer, we might be able to bundle your shipping upgrade costs! Give us a call and we'll make sure you're getting the best shipping price possible!
