Mod-E Height-Adjustable Table

Mod-E Height-Adjustable Table At A Glance:
Have you ever been sitting at your desk and just needed to stand up for a while - but you couldn't afford to stop working? Anyone who has ever needed different height worksurfaces for different tasks will identify the problem most desks and tables have; you just can't use them for multiple tasks. The Mod-E Height-Adjustable Table is our solution to that problem. Work sitting down or standing up without switching desks. Use the Mod-E Table in your garage or hobby room to alleviate the back strain that comes from bending over a table that's just meant for seated activity.

What's To Like:

  • Height-adjustability
Because not every task you do should be at the same working height, and because we've all experienced neck pain and eye strain from working on a poorly-adjusted worksurface.
  • Easy-to-use Design
You can easily adjust the height of the Mod-E table up to 19" in just 9 seconds with the simple push of a button. A built-in "smart-box" computer features both "soft-start" and "soft-stop" technology so your coffee won't spill while you're raising or lowering your desk height.
  • Adjustable Base
Has the ability to be wide or narrow depending on what size top you want to put on it (the top is available in small, medium, and large sizes). The three sizes are interchangeable. Most of us won't be switching out our tabletops everyday, but it's nice to have that option. Widen or narrow the base to best fit your space by simply using an allen wrench.
  • Solid Base Construction
So that you'll have a sturdy platform for whatever it is you're doing. Added stability is provided by leveling glides.

What's Not to Like:
You can get a less expensive desk, if you really want to. But if you want a height-adjustable desk, the Mod-E table is hard to beat.

The Bottom Line:
For all those who tire of sitting all day, and for those whose doctors have prescribed activity during the workday, the Mod-E Height-Adjustable Table is a great choice. With its easy-to-use electric height adjustment system, you won't have to work the same way ever again! Anywhere you need a height-adjustable table, the Mod-E Table is really the perfect solution.

72 Inch Table Review

from Virginia

Comments about ModTable Mod-E Height Adjustable Table:

This is a review for the 72 inch Multi Table Mod-E Adjustable Table. I couldn't find much information out there initially about this table; only a few reviews here and there so I thought it would be beneficial to write a review of my own.

1) With regards to quality, this is not solid wood, however, it is still VERY good quality. I wouldn't consider it the stuff you would buy from a Walmart that could easily break. The quality of the actual base, which moves, is great. There are no other words to describe it. Without a doubt it; it is solid.

2) With regards to pricing, this is what I would consider the middle price range of product for adjustable tables. What was most attractive to me about this table in the price is the sizing options. I needed at least a 70 inch table top. They gave me the option to have it. Some tables that are about 1500-2000 do not even have an option to get a top that large.

3) I am about 6 foot 4 inches and can easily work on this table without it being at the top height and comfortably adjust the height while sitting also.

4)) Customer service: Both Multi Table and Smart Furniture have great customer service. Will definitely shop here for all office products now.

5) I cannot show what is on my desktop however, I have 2 monitors on a arm attached to the desk, a 15 inch laptop docked to a docking station, 2 medium sized speakers, keyboard, mouse, iPad, and Macbook all on the desk at once with room still to work and no issue with the desk moving up or down.

  • Q:

Do the wheels/caster lock? I am considering this for a kitchen as a table as well as a work table. If the wheels don't lock, then I'll be chasing the table across the room. Hope they do lock.

The Mod-E Height Adjustable Table comes standard with 4 feet so you shouldn't be chasing it anywhere!

  • Q:

Weight is the weight limit that can be on the desk in addition to the top itself, so that it can still go up and down?

That depends on the size of the top. The base without a top can hold 175 lbs moving, 300 lbs stationary but the below takes into account moving with a top.
      24" x 40" Weight capacity: 110 pounds
      24" x 48" Weight capacity: 105 pounds
      29" x 57" Weight capacity: 94 pounds
      29" x 72" Weight capacity: 85 pounds
