Prince AHA Stool by Kartell
designed by Philippe Starck
Thought up as a colorful game of building blocks, the Prince AHA stool is composed of two cones to resemble the shape of an hourglass. An entertaining and colorful accessory, and a practical stool and stand to place beside the couch or bed. The pastel colors, the texture of the material used and the geometric design make Prince AHA a flexible product, easily inserted into any setting. It is available in a range of pastel colors.
About the Designer
Few designers have had an impact across the world of design like Philippe Starck. From modern furniture, restaurant interiors, to architecture, the French icon has made lasting impressions to all those exposed to his work. However, his most influential designs have been in the world of staggeringly original mass produced consumer goods. Renowned for his collaboration with the Italian design and manufacturing firm Kartell, Mr. Stark's most famous works include the Ghost Chair series, the Bubble Club group, and the Prince AHA Stool. Despite all his past achievements, he is still highly active in the world of modern design.

Materials & Measurements
Materials: Smooth batch-dyed polycarbonate Dimensions:17" h x 11.8" diameter
Contrary to the common idea, products in plastic materials are highly ecological for the reason that they can be recycled (with the exception of polyurethane, little used in Kartell products). Thus, Kartell products can be easily recycled. In order to simplify the recycling process, the various components of Kartell products can be easily separated and reduced to elements made of one single material. Moreover, the plastic parts of each product carry, clearly printed, an identification mark to determine the correct classification of the different kinds of plastic and their effective recycling.
