5-Year Protection Plans
Life happens. Buying a big piece of furniture is fun, but accidentally ruining the fabric isn’t. Most of the time, a manufacturer’s warranty doesn’t cover accidental stains, spills, and tears. But don’t worry, our 5-year Protection Plan has you covered.
How it Works:
You decide when you buy your sofa, chair, loveseat, or sectional that you want it to last a while. When you add your new seating solution to your cart, you'll have the option to add a protection plan to it (don't worry, you can always remove it should you change your mind). After that, we'll send you a fancy card with proof of your purchase and information on what to do if the unthinkable happens. Here are the things that the Pure Genius plan covers:
For this plan, your furniture will be covered for five (5) years from date of delivery. We'll try to repair the damage first, and if that fails you'll get a fat check for the replacement value of your furniture.
Pure Genius Plan
The Pure Genius Plan is a deluxe Protection Plan. It covers stains plus damage from normal use. Rips, tears, stains, frame or structural damage, the Pure Genius Plan covers it all.
Cat lovers, dog owners, toddler havers, people who wear spiked belts, anyone who has ever accidentally damaged something before
Why it’s smart:
Get this plan to protect you from all of life’s hazards. Spills or stains? Check. Rips or tears? Check. Dents to the frame? Check. Water marks? Check. Pet scratches? Check*.
*The Pure Genius Plan covers one (1) claim to repair pet damage. Additional claims from pet damage are not covered.
Just about any material is covered by our Pure Genius Plan:
If you try to clean the product yourself you will void your protection plan. These plans cover accidental damages--not purposeful destruction cases. That includes but is not limited to: Psycho shower scene reenactments, Gwar concerts, trampoline sessions, and Abstract Impressionist paint projects.
Stains from gradual accumulation, like dust or body oils, are NOT covered, and damage from non-normal use isn't either.
Keep your receipt and a copy of this plan! You'll need them when making a claim.
How to File a Claim:
Filing a claim is easy. You can either contact the number on your proof of protection card (provided shortly after purchase) or contact the Smart Furniture Customer Service team via email, firstname.lastname@example.org, or call us at 888-762-7841. We'll handle everything for you.
We'll make every effort to repair goods that fall under our protection policies. As a first step we'll provide stain removal or repair products at no cost to you. If the problem persists, we'll arrange an in-home visit from a certified professional. If repairs can't be done on site, we'll remove, fix, and return the product at no cost to you. If we're unable to repair the product, we'll cover the cost of a replacement. For more information (including the fine print) please see the details of each plan below.
