Due to this crisis, we are temporarily suspending our normal warranty requests in an effort to ensure the health of our shippers, team members, and warranty repair technicians. Additionally, please note that due to state and local shelter in place orders, we are experiencing delays in receiving parts for repairs. Repair technician work has been delayed as well. 

We appreciate your support during these challenging times. We’ll do everything in our power to ensure your warranty request is handled as soon as possible. If you submit a warranty claim request, please know it’s been received by our customer care team. Filling out the form will place you in line to get warranty work done in the order in which it was received.

Fill out our Herman Miller Warranty Service Request Form. We’ll contact you with shipping information within 2 business days.

Step 2

Send us your chair.

Step 3

We’ll fix your chair so that it’s as good as new. If the repair is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, we’ll contact you with pricing and await your approval before doing any work.

Step 4

We ship your fixed chair back to you.

What's the cost?

If your chair is covered by warranty and the part needing replacement or repair is covered by warranty, you pay nothing! If your chair is outside of the warranty time period, or the damaged part is not covered, we’ll advise of a repair and replacement fee before beginning work.

How do I ship you my chair?

Once you complete the Service Request Form we'll send you shipping information, appropriate packaging and coordinate a pick-up from your home or business.  If you live near Chattanooga, you can drop off your chair at our warehouse.

What if I didn't order from Smart Furniture?

No problem! We'll repair your chair no matter where you purchased it.

How long will it take to get my chair back?

Repair times vary based on the extent of the service required. Generally, we'll ship your chair back to you in 10 - 12 business days from the date it is received.  Some repairs may take longer.  Once we receive and inspect the chair, we'll notify you of an exact return date.

Chairs will not be accepted without prior authorization.
